Made some new pictures, 2011 is almost gone

First, I want to share a picture took with my new Nikon camera, cause everything looks beast in black and white… monochrome!

That is a picture of my great Grandma, Vernie Damron. She’s 102 years old this year, and she has had alzheimers since 99, she actually was in a nursimg home and recovered enough to come back home, so never give up on the elderly. People ask me what kind of magic it takes to live this long, but all we do is feed her a glass of red wine (Mogen David, a cheap sweet wine to be exact) every night, and buy about 30$ worth of yarn for her to crochet with every week. You’d think we had a crew of asian factory workers by the number of quilts she churns out (1 every 3 days) but it works her mind better than crossword puzzles and she stays fairly coherent. I didn’t expect her to live this long, but as time passes my family has come to the realization that I better have children so they can watch her after me, my Dad and my grandma pass away. I just hope I live long enough to see Guiness put her in the book!

Bless her and bless you for writing about her. She has to think you’re wonderful. It is a wonderful thing when we can spend time with grand parents let alone great grand parents.
